Structural Steel Welders- Western Suburbs

JV Recruitment is currently on the hunt for X6 Structural Steel Welders. These locations are based in Wehterill Park, Kemps Creek, Mount Druitt and Penrith
 
The duties will include a mix of MIG and TIG Welding, Overhead welding, Flux core welding and also Blind spot Welds

This is an immediate start position. 

ON OFFER:

• $45-$50 per hour + super + coinvest
• Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
• Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
• On-going roles

ROLE DUTIES:

• Welding of Heavy Structural Steel
• To be able to weld all positions
• Working unsupervised
• Reading and Interpreting Engineering drawings
• Inspect your welds for integrity

 
Key requirements needed to apply:

• Mig/Tig Welding experience (Desirable) with 2 years of experience
• Scissor lift and Working at Heights Tickets Essential
• Working unsupervised
• To be able to weld all positions
• Reading and Interpreting Engineering drawings
• Experience in Manufacturing welding (desirable)
