Job description:
This role will assist in and carry out, where qualified, the installation, maintenance and repair of trackside systems equipment and infrastructure as required to ensure its safe and effective operation.

- South Side of Brisbane.
- Attractive salary starting at $68,000 base ($34 p/hr, with earning up to 80,000 with allowance and penalty rates.
- Great Superannuation Scheme with 12.75% employee contribution.
- 4 Week Rotational working cycle, with scheduled nights, weekends and track closures
- Requirement to travel across multiple Depots/Regions.
This area delivers infrastructure services, construction, maintenance, asset management and development across 1000 kilometres of track around Southeast Queensland, which stretches from Varsity Lakes in the South to Gympie in the North and from Moreton Bay in the East and inland to Rosewood in the west.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in and carry out, where qualified, the installation, maintenance and repair of trackside systems equipment and infrastructure in accordance with predefined work programs.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements and legislative policies.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specification and standards.
- Maintain records relating to asset condition, maintenance program and costing systems.
- Identify and advise of any exceptions relating to the performance of the asset.
- Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program and equipment performance and condition irregularities.
- Progress the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.
About you:
- National Driver's license (MR license highly desirable)
- Experience in Labour/Construction Industry
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
