Job description

Join our rapidly growing Specialised and Asset Finance team in Australia and utilise your passion and expertise in Structuring and Execution. We are a global team with key offices in Sydney, London and New York and are focussed on transactions in the Resources sectors (mining, infrastructure, and construction) with additional exposure to transactions in energy and mobility/transport.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our origination team in executing transactions and managing both internal stakeholder and client relationships. You will be involved in financial modelling, investment/proposition summary writing and engage with a range of stakeholders to provide innovative solutions for their problems. You will achieve successful outcomes for our clients by combining Macquarie’s entrepreneurial and innovative culture, risk management framework as well as financing and Execution capabilities to provide market-leading solutions.

What you offer

  • Finance industry experience with a focus in mining, engineering, asset management or asset valuation related sectors
  • Experience delivering transactions or projects to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Financial literacy including the ability to interpret financial statements and the ability to forecast and assess credit and equity risk
  • Financial modelling skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid research and analytical skills.
