ACAP, The Australian College of Applied Professions, is Australia's leading independent provider of tertiary education, delivering accredited courses in psychology, counselling, coaching, criminology, social work, law, and business management and leadership (MBA).


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised Student Engagement Advisor in a full time position. This role works closely in supporting the Student Engagement team and is responsible for delivering professional advice and services, and engaging with specialist and academic colleagues to ensure students can successfully progress in their studies. The Student Engagement Advisor is also responsible for engaging and contacting students proactively, by inbound and outbound calls, emails and other communication channels. 

The Student Engagement Advisor is an integral member of a close-knit team, driven by a shared commitment to providing exceptional support and guidance to students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting daily with inbound student queries across the various service channels. 
  • Processing administrative tasks and data entry 
  • Assisting with the re-enrolment of students and providing course sequence advise 
  • Liasing with Discipline and specialist staff to ensure students are adequately supported
  • Apply policy and procedures to provide accurate timely advice

In addition to a student-first approach, it is essential you can demonstrate:

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all administrative activities
  • Demonstrated computer literacy including advanced MS Office suite and ideally student records software
  • Ability to work as part of a team and in a way that is flexibe and adaptable
  • Ideally have experience in tertiary education environment
