  • Fix Term - Full-time parental leave replacement until 28 April 2023 then 0.6 FTE until 28 July 2023
  • $127,061 per annum, part time pro-rata (HEO10)
  • Plus 17% employer superannuation
  • The position may be conducted on-campus in Armidale or remotely

About the role

The Student Experience Portfolio Manager works in-concert with the Executive Principal Student Experience to join-up and enact all facets of a complex and multi-faceted portfolio. The key strategy underlying all of the work of the portfolio is the Future Fit strategy, with particular focus on personalised and transformative student experiences. The key priorities, across the portfolio, are student retention, student engagement, student/graduate success and widening participation.

The Student Experience Portfolio Manager project manages priority-work sitting across the six Student Experience units: Library Services; College Residential Systems; Student Services; Student Engagement; Student Wellness Centre; and Student Grievance. The role is situated at the interface with academic governance, ensuring that all relevant operational matters are aligned and compliant with governance, policies and academic board decisions and that comprehensive reporting is delivered on-schedule.

About you

You will have demonstrated strengths and significant experience in project management and executive/business report writing and show keen aptitude towards planning, development and corporate business operations. You have experience in enacting practice in compliance with complex governance systems, processes, policies and procedures. You are passionate about student experience with a can-do attitude. You are highly collaborative, willing to work closely with staff across all Student Experience units and University-wide to enact evidence-based, solution-focused and high-impact outcomes.
