The Opportunity

St Patrick’s College is seeking to employ a part time Student Wellbeing Officer (SWBO) to join the Student Wellbeing Support Services (SWSS) team.  This role will focus on providing quality pastoral care and wellbeing support services to students, ensuring a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment and improving student engagement to enable enhanced learning outcomes.

This position is part time limited tenure (Special Project), working 23 hours per fortnight (0.3 FTE) during school terms only, effective from Term 2 2024 until the end of Term 4, 2025. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.

  • have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within SWSS and with a variety of school teams. 
  • Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.

About Us

St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience.  The College is structured into a three school model of learning, incorporating the Middle School (Years 7 and 8), Croagh Patrick (Year 9) and Senior School (Years 10-12).
