We are currently seeking a part-time Submission Coordinator and Writer three days per week. The role includes flexibility around working days/times. This part-time role will involve the planning, writing and editing of text associated with submissions, the purpose of which is to respond to Requests for Tender and to win commissions for architectural projects. Our submissions incorporate text, diagrams, photographs and drawings, all of which need to be sourced, vetted and placed into a well designed graphic document. TRCB’s inhouse graphics designer will maintain responsibility for graphic outputs. Your creative mindset will be put to work as you collaborate with the wide team to generate innovative ideas that enhance brand presence in a competitive design landscape. You will also assist with the preparation of internal and external newsletters.
The successful candidate will be proactive, creative and organised, with an eye for detail. They will be able to work collaboratively with the TRCB team to meet frequent and demanding deadlines.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following required skills:
- Writing clear and convincing text in response to qualitative criteria
- Editing and updating existing content in response to qualitative criteria
- Coordinating with internal teams to manage deadlines
- Sufficient confidence to liaise with the Directors as deadlines approach
- Building up a well-managed catalogue of submission content developed over time
- Maintaining a register of tenders and keeping progress updated
- Lodging submissions via portals and via email
- Assisting with the writing, editing, design and production of marketing collateral and promotional items such as our bimonthly internal and external newsletters and capability statements.
- Generate engaging content aligned with marketing objectives
- Actively engage with social media audience to cultivate relationships on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Assisting with maintaining TRCB’s social media strategy to showcase our projects and team
- Excellent writing skills, editing skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office
- Graphic design experience and familiarity with InDesign is desirable
