Together, we are on the lookout for a talented and driven Substation Primary High Voltage Engineer to take part in a once-in-a-generation project that is set to redefine the energy landscape in New South Wales.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Undertake primary engineering design for High Voltage substations (132kV+), focusing on physical layout, specifying, and selecting high-voltage equipment and materials.
- Conduct electrical calculations for load flow, fault levels, and protection coordination to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with relevant national and international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated solutions from the conceptual phase through to commissioning.
- Offer technical support during construction and operational phases.
- Oversee project deliverables, managing timelines, and budgets effectively to meet or exceed project objectives.
- Act as a mentor to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience in primary engineering design for High Voltage substations (132kV+).
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, ETAP, PSS/E).
- Deep understanding of electrical theory, principles, and working knowledge of IEC 61850, ANSI, and other applicable standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage constructively with colleagues at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
