The major function of this position is:
To create a compelling and meaningful customer experience for all visitors to Maui Jim with an Aloha welcome and by sharing our story, history and core values of quality, craftsmanship, and adventure, whilst providing professional repair and replacement services. Maintain an excellent working relationship with the repair department personnel.
The principle responsibilities and duties of this position are:
Provide an exceptional customer service experience by greeting, listening, and assisting customers through the repair options and process. Demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the products as well as of Maui Jim history and heritage.
Determine proper actions for repairs or amount of credit based on condition of product and amount originally paid
Determine which goods meet repair and/or credit criteria, both warranty and non-warranty.
Process Sunglass Repairs adjustments and/or replacement for both walk-in customers and sunglasses returned by mail.
Provide outstanding customer service by listening to customers carefully, demonstrating customer service skills by appropriately match the customers' needs and build long-lasting relationships.
Proactively resolve customer concerns in a manner consistent with Maui Jim standards and with customer satisfaction top of mind. Partner with leadership on escalated customer situations.
Have a full understanding of the entire Maui Jim Sun, Optical and Zeal product lines, providing product knowledge and information to customers relating to technology, lenses, materials, use and fit.
Assist customers in style selection and purchasing of Maui Jim Sunglasses to facilitate repair trade-in.
Maintain the appearance of the showroom to contribute to a positive customer experience.
Perform tasks on SAP System - CRM and ECC - orders, inventory, replenishment stock, end of day report, etc.
Monitor and report on sunglasses quality issues identified to repairs management team.
Code and invoice all repair charges and credit / return amounts accurately in computer system.
Consistently seek ways to improve the customer experience while adding value to the team.
Perform opening and closing procedures, closing reports and other duties as required.
Other Duties:
Perform all other work-related duties as requested or required.
Backup and support other departments as needed.
