News Corp's National Sport Newsroom is looking for a newly created Video and Audio producer role for SuperCoach and SuperCoach Tips - to join the team and assist with content creation to grow and engage audiences on our sites and on social platforms.
We're a national team delivering SuperCoach content on four formats - AFL, NRL, BBL and NBL - published to some of Australia's biggest news and sports websites and their social platforms 7 days a week.
It's a high tempo role managing and producing our Video and Audio executions alongside a national SuperCoach team of editorial, marketing and growth experts. You'll need to know your AFL from your NRL, your draft night from your bye rounds and everything in between. We will need you for weekends and night shifts across a rotating roster.
Your main KPI is to attract, engage, and retain SuperCoach audiences and ensure content is providing a great customer experience, delivering in line with business objectives and is compliant with the regulatory environment we operate in.
This position can be based out of either our Southbank VIC or Surry Hills NSW offices.
Role Responsibilities
- Working alongside the SuperCoach and NSN editorial teams, in conjunction with the NSN social team, to deliver Video and Audio content end to end
Collaborating with various teams - editorial, marketing, commercial
Performance tracking
Overall video strategy for fantasy growth
Audience data analysis, regular reporting
Protecting and enhancing brand reputation, and legal compliance
Supporting editorial staff in their own Video and Audio creation
Provide strategic direction to grow SuperCoach awareness across multiple brands and pages
Who are you?
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud with an emphasis on Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects
Understanding of video social platforms and how to engage audiences
Understanding of podcast platforms and how to engage audiences
Experience in the media industry preferred
Creative thinking and the ability to produce engaging content
Passion for story-telling and engaging audiences
Effective communication and motivation skills
Informed decision-making with ability to set and work with short-term, medium-term and long-term targets
Excellent attention to detail and standard of both written and verbal English
