About the role:

The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Superintendent Reliability Engineering to join them on a 4:3 days roster based at Mine. Reporting to the Manager Asset Management, you will be responsible for leading a team to minimize equipment downtime, optimise lifecycle costs and enhance equipment availability for Mobile SME & Water operations to achieve increased production at the right cost across the group of assets.

Duties:

• Optimise, govern, and improve the Reliability Systems and Processes for all equipment
• Assist with the review and prioritisation of works based on value and risk
• Lead the Medium-Term Planning input and reconciliation processes for unscheduled losses
• Assist with the creation of the budget by feeding in the correct Planned Maintenance and component strategies for all the assets
• Build a strong positive culture both within the team and within the Execution/Planning Partnership. Establish relationships and promote clear and positive communication. Negotiate opportunities across teams to establish preferred business outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to lead a team to successfully business partner and deliver excellent customer service
• Experience in either Engineering or Maintenance Execution (within the mining industry)
• Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or similar technical field or an appropriate trade qualification with a demonstrated combination of training and experience
• Significant asset management experience or qualification at certificate level or above.
