About the role:
- Develop and implement WHS measures, including Safe Work Method Statements and coaching for compliance.
- Participate in future planning for equipment, plant, and labor requirements.
- Plan and monitor works to ensure adherence to WHS, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
- Collaborate with Engineers on construction programs and resource allocation.
- Manage workforce, plant, and subcontractors and provide regular reports to the Project Manager/Superintendent.
Skills and experience:
- Significant experience delivering civil infrastructure construction projects on structural teams.
- Recognised skills in managing Work Health and Safety, Environmental legislative and procedural requirements.
- Working knowledge of Quality, IR, HR, and other relevant legislation and standards.
- Understanding of client specifications and ability to monitor ITPs for all trades.
- Ability to manage assigned budgets and provide assistance with engineering forecasts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current C-Class Driver’s License.
