Supervisor Kindergarten Grounds & Home Maintenance

Council is currently seeking a motivated Supervisor to coordinate the day to day operations, administration and supervision of the Kindergarten Grounds and Home Maintenance Services team. You will be required to ensure the service unit operates in compliance with Councils Corporate goals, objectives and standards. 

The duties of this position include/but not limited to: 

• Provide assistance and undertake required duties from the Parks, Gardens & Environment Team Leader and Coordinator Depot Operations. 
• To undertake Kindergarten grounds and Home Maintenance including mowing, brush cutting, trimming and edging, as required. 
• Provide competent daily supervision and direction of the outdoor staff/contractors in the execution of the works program.
• Ensure the use of safe work practices by the outdoor staff in execution of duties at all times and to ensure contractors, their agents, and staff comply with OH&S and Equal Opportunity legislation. 

The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position. 
The current salary is $68,583 per annum (inclusive of industry allowance) excluding superannuation, with the opportunity to progress through Councils banding levels.
