We are currently recruiting for an, Supervisor – Process Maintenance (Wet Plant) who will report directly into the Superintendent – Wet Plant, this role is being offered on a 8:6:7:7 roster.
This role will oversee the mechanical maintenance program and tasks for the wet area of the process plant, ensuring all works are conducted safely, efficiently, and effectively. You will manage a team of permanent tradespeople as well as contractors and specialists as required on site.
A day in the life may include:
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure all work is completed to agreed schedules
- Manage the backlog of work within agreed targets
- Peovide leadership and technical direction to the team you will be managing
- Review, upgrade and maintain equipment maintenance strategies
- Contractor management
About you:
You will have experience of managing large trade teams, hold a Mechanical trade qualification with extensive experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role within a heavy industrial plant. You will have a proactive mindset which will allow you to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the performance of the plant, processes and people.
Additional skills required include:
- Strong relationship building skills
- Sound understanding of maintenance work management processes and experience with managing maintenance work utilizing a CMMS system.
- The ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- SAP Experience
