The Oppor­tu­ni­ty
We seek an expe­ri­enced Super­vi­sor Region­al Waste Man­age­ment Facil­i­ty to be respon­si­ble for the day-to-day Super­vi­sion, devel­op­ment, coor­di­na­tion, and oper­a­tion of the ser­vice, includ­ing the super­vi­sion of staff and contractors.
You will be a self-moti­vat­ed per­son with a high lev­el of knowl­edge and skill in the oper­a­tions of a waste and recy­cling ser­vice. The role is also expect­ed to be able to demon­strate an abil­i­ty to estab­lish and main­tain effec­tive work­ing rela­tion­ships with all stake­hold­ers and ensure excel­lent cus­tomer service.
Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will con­sist of Admin­is­tra­tion, Site Oper­a­tions, Employ­ee Train­ing and Work, and Health & safe­ty areas. Some of them are, super­vis­ing the effi­cient and effec­tive oper­a­tions of the RWMF includ­ing the Redis­cov­ery Cen­tre, trans­fer sta­tion, weigh­bridge, land­fill, glass crush­er, Card­board Bail­er, liq­uid waste ponds, haz­ards waste area, and Bio Bins, assist­ing with the imple­men­ta­tion and on-going works as list­ed under the Land­fill Licence and Envi­ron­men­tal Man­age­ment Plan (LEMP) for the facil­i­ty, and orga­nize the work ros­ter for plant oper­a­tors and allo­cate resources as required.

Attrac­tive salary of $92,783.52 plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents.
6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave entitlements.
