The Exceptional Needs Unit (ENU) works with young people, adults and families who have exceptional needs, exceptional risks, and exceptional circumstances. The Supervisor, Non Resident Support Pathway is a role within ENU and accountable to Manager, Specialist Family Support Pathways for:
- Leading the case management and implementation of
Non Resident Support Pathway.
- Supervising the development of service delivery models, policies and procedures for
Non Resident Support Pathway clients.
- Building, fostering, and growing positive working relationships with commonwealth and state government, non-government and private sector stakeholders.
- Supervising and supporting staff and students with assessments, case coordination and navigation of cases for
Non Resident Support Pathway clients.
Employment-related Screening Check required.
Some OUT OF hours work may be required.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
Have an Understanding of Child Safe Environments.

Essential Qualifications:
• Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or
• An appropriate degree or equivalent in Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education, which enables eligibility for full membership of Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated; or
• Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Australia; or
• A degree level qualification in Psychology and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

Screening Checks
If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role.
