Supervisor

TEN Recruitment are in partnership with a civil engineering contractor who provide a range of services across Western Australia including land development (commercial & residential) and civil infrastructure (private & government).
 
The family-owned business is both client and quality focussed with over 30 years of industry experience. This is an excellent time to join a dynamic and fast-growing division of the business and supervise the construction of a large subdivision in the Yanchep area.
 
This opportunity will provide the successful candidate with continuity of work – the project has up to 2 years to complete. They are especially keen to speak to Supervisors or Leading Hands with a background in subdivision construction, specifically being strong in the final stages of construction in areas such as kerbing, final trim, retaining walls etc.
 
Duties:

• Lead and supervise / coordinate site personnel, plant, materials and subcontractors daily.
• Attend site meetings and send weekly progress reports to Management.
• Assist with materials procurement and quality documentation.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers in line with site programs.
• Maintain site records and responsible for onsite OH&S documentation including toolbox meetings and completing incident / near miss reporting.
• Ensure programs, productions and budgets are met.
• Understand SOW and follow up on Variations, changes, etc.

 
Candidate criteria:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Subdivisional works including Bulk Earthworks and Undergrounds.
• Ability to interpret drawings and construction programs.
• Safety focussed.
• Ability to work flexible hours and willing to operate plant and equipment if required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current Senior First Aid is desirable.
• MUST HAVE AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS (International candidates will not be considered)
