THE ROLE

Mechanical Trade Assistants/Technicians/Supervisors

We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Mechanical Trade Assistants & Supervisors to join our team working alongside our respected Client based in Jandakot, WA.

You will play an important role supporting our Clients Mechanical Tradesmen across various tasks. 

This role is primarily workshop based 4 x 8hr days which will involve Shutdown work when required which hours will increase significantly based on shutdown time and length. Shutdown work Duties will include fixing & repairing vibrating screens on the CHPP, working in a harness, component change outs, fault finding, repairs and same day replacements.

Candidates are required to meet the below criteria

• Resume
• Australian working rights - Birth Certificate, Passport, Australian residency 
• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
• HRWL - Forklift
• Current Working at Heights (2 years)
• Current Confined Space + Gas Test Atmospheres (2 years)
• Ability to pass Lab Drug & Alcohol Test
• National Police Check (12 months)
• Construction White Card 
• Ability to pass Pre employment Medical 

Site Induction Requirements - we really require people already BHP/Rio Tinto Inducted

• Rio Tinto Essentials Induction PRH PRH/S (AVELING)
• RTIO Isolation Theory Training
• Pilbara Minerals
• BHP Inducted

Additional

• Mine Experience preferred
• Basic Rigging skills desirable 
• Mechanical Trade desirable but not essential
• Willingness to learn, right attitude and exceptional work ethic 
• Supervisory experience leading teams preferably in the mining Industry
