Our Finance team's focus is to support business units by providing a wide range of facilitation, guidance and governance services in an effective and collaborative manner, as well as at a strategic and corporate level.

About the Opportunity
Ensure the integrity and effective utilisation of ARTC's rail infrastructure inventory.
Maintain the integrity of the regional inventory system ensuring a high degree of stock accuracy and effective stock management practices.
- Facilitate the sourcing and delivery logistics of Catalogue Products required for rail upgrade projects
- Manage the safe and efficient storage of all Products upon delivery at the Distribution Centres
- Perform stock verifications at all inventory locations as per the Inventory Stocktake Procedure
- Supervise movements between locations coordinating with other regional staff to address shortfalls in stock where necessary and maximise stock utilisation
- Ensure that procurement Supply Agreements are effectively utilised
- Infrequent travel required to remote stocking locations
About You
To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong warehousing and logistics experience with extensive experience in operating a forklift
- Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Solid experience in a procurement and inventory administration role in a multi-site environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Developed skills in negotiation, influencing, and problem solving
- High level of analytical ability, commercial acumen and a willingness to exceed customer expectation
- Proficient with ERP management systems and highly computer literate
- Good knowledge of supply agreements and contracts
