Job description

Are you looking for a challenge? HR+ has a position for a Support Coordinator with a strengths-based approach to help NDIS participants develop, refine and achieve their goals.  Do you love building relationships and dealing with a broad range of stakeholders, all while genuinely enjoying every day you are at work? If you think this could be for you then read on…

The position

HR+ is seeking a “support extraordinaire” to fulfil this full-time position as a Support Coordinator within its NDIS program. You will be joining an experienced team and will hit the ground running with an existing case load and the opportunity to take on additional referrals.

What we need from you is your exceptional skills in multi-tasking, along with the ability to provide assistance to NDIS participants and their support networks.  You will be required to develop and maintain relationships with other NDIS service providers in the region and mainstream providers across the sector. What would be even better is if you already have these networks!

Your workload will be diverse, and you will be supported with excellent professional development opportunities. Your attention to detail and understanding of the importance of case notes and record keeping will be vital to your success.

The standard here at HR+ has been set high! If you are as good as you claim to be, in return you will be rewarded with variety, meaningful work, a great team and lots and lots of laughs!

HR+ is committed to inclusivity and diversity and we encourage anyone with lived experience of disability to apply.

The Organisation

HR+ is a not-for-profit organisation contracted by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to recruit and retain General Practitioners, Nursing and Allied Health Professionals in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities. HR+ is also a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management.

Our centrally located building is full of pleasant surprises with purpose-built offices located behind a character filled façade. Our bright open workspaces have been fitted out with the latest technology and the greenery is multiplying by the day.

The HR+ culture is a one of a kind and you will be supported by a management team who genuinely care about you and your wellbeing. The team dynamic has been intentionally cultivated and you will find yourself working alongside a superb bunch of people who genuinely love what they do. This is a collaborative and innovative place to work, where new ideas are valued and fun is encouraged.

What's on offer?

Salary negotiable commensurate with skills and experience. Additionally, as HR+ is a not-for-profit organisation we offer access to salary packaging up to the value of $15,900, plus other benefits.

We believe that work-life balance is important, and we are happy to support this by way of additional paid time off, including Easter Tuesday and Christmas leave during our office shut down. We also provide volunteer leave and leave loading. At HR+ we place value in learning, and we want to ensure that you have the chance to grow - so you will be provided with plenty of professional development opportunities.

Aside from all the additional paid time off - when we are at work, we like to have fun! There are impromptu lunches and morning teas to celebrate just about everything that happens at work and at home. In the past year we have had a beach day, an in-house Shark Tank Day, ping pong tournaments (for those inclined), and our CEO is always open to new ways to celebrate our amazing team. Oh, and if you appreciate an indoor plant then you are going to love coming to work here and being surrounded by our ever-growing jungle…
