The opportunity
We are seeking a talented Technical Data Designer to support the CH47 Program. The role is based in Oakey. You will be supporting the CH-47F program as a Technical Writer, and will require candidates to possess the following attributes:

As a Tech Pubs Librarian/Technical Writer you will:
- Receive and incorporate publication change requests from the Flight crews and work with the technical support team to propose changes to the customer for approval.
- Receive and incorporate publication amendments and keep associated records.
- Conduct audits and checks of the publications suite.
- Draft technical instructions based on provided technical and Engineering Data.
- Be the primary point of contact within the program for publications.
- Working closely with CH47 Coordinators and Execution Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project revision deliveries.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a collaborative team approach, well developed analytical skills and excellent written and verbal skills.
To be considered for the role you will:
- Experience in the development of technical publications and instructions for a new or fielded major equipment system
- Experience in managing a publications library.
- Proficient technical writing skills using MS word and Adobe professional.
- A high standard of communication skills that facilitate interaction between the project staff and key internal customer groups
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
