Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.
Flinders Private Hospital is seeking a customer focused Supervisor who will engage and motivate staff to achieve the Hospital's goals. Reporting to the ACHA Support Services Manager, this hands on role is responsible for the day to day coordination of the hospital cleaning and Portering requirements.
Duties will include:
· Developing and leading the team to ensure customer requirements are met
· Dealing with customer enquiries and feedback
· Providing ongoing training for new and existing staff
· Ensuring systems and procedures are implemented and monitored
· Proactively promoting and participating in hazard identification and injury reduction
· Developing a strong sense of team work through actively participating in service delivery and providing positive peer influence
· Identifying opportunities to improve processes and service delivery
Selection Criteria:
· Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
· Experience in managing a team
· High level organisational and communication skills
· Cleaning and/or Hospital experience
· Certificate 4 in Frontline Management desirable
· Operate in line with Infection Control Standards and WHS Policies and Procedures
· Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands
· Candidates must hold Australian or NZ citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing
