DESF provides staff to various SIL Providers in WA with services from administration to disability support workers.
The Disability Empowerment and Support Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Staff Training (RN) to join our team in Perth and Mandurah. This position falls under the Administration department and offers a permanent, full-time opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. As a Support Staff Training (RN), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering training programmes for Support Staff, focusing on person-centred care, disability awareness, and health and safety protocols.
- Assessing the training needs of Support Staff and creating tailored training plans to address skill gaps and enhance their professional development.
- Collaborating with the management team to design training materials, including manuals, presentations, and interactive sessions, to ensure consistency in training delivery.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to Support Staff members, offering ongoing support and feedback to facilitate their learning and growth.
- Conducting regular evaluations of training effectiveness, gathering feedback from staff members, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records of Staff Training activities, certifications, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
