Are you a mature aged, talkative, and bubbly individual with a passion for supporting others? We are urgently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in the Liverpool City Council area.
About the Role:
Position: Support Worker
Client: Responsible for the care of one female non-verbal client
Days: Every Friday with availability for leave cover
Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide exclusive care for one client with Bulbar MND
- Assist with social and community participation through encouraging and assisting the client on half/full day trips in the community.
- Undertake personal care and other ADL
- Assist with PEG Feeding and management of nutritional supplies.
We are seeking a Support Worker who can provide culturally sensitive care tailored to the specific needs of our Australian-born client. Our client wishes for the Support Worker to be outgoing, a social person who is talkative and is comfortable with communicating with a non-verbal client.
Requirements:
- Must be female with Excellent communication skills
- Must have a clean and well-maintained car
- Must have a Full Australian driver's license with full demerit points
- Must have an NDIS Check, Australian Drivers Licence, and Police Check or willingness to obtain
