An opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified Electrician to join the team at our Oaky Creek North Operations. This position is located in the Engineering Surface Infrastructure team, where the successful applicant will be working a 7/7 lifestyle roster.
In order to be successful, you will have the relevant trade qualification, suitable experience and the ability to practice and promote safe work behaviours. These credentials are complemented by your genuine commitment to safety and demonstrated ability to operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
You will be responsible for providing electrical support to the Surface Infrastructure team with the main tasks including but not limited to statutory inspections, completing preventative and breakdown maintenance duties and participating in electrical installation and commissioning projects.
The Role:
- Full-time permanent
- Even-time 7/7 rostered position
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing electrical support to the underground operation and statutory inspections
- Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance duties
- Displaying high work standards
- Influencing and maintaining a positive team culture and driving the safety culture
About you:
- 2+ years Surface Infrastructure electrical experience will be highly regarded
- Hold a current QLD Electrical Licence
- Hold a current Standard 11 (surface)
- Have previous experience in diagnostics and fault finding with the ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with high voltage and programmable logic control (PLC) will be highly regarded
