The role
We have an opportunity for an analytical thinker who understands the strategic implications of sustainability related issues to join the supportive and collaborative Climate and Sustainability team at Adbri!
The Sustainability Analyst will collate & manage data to maintain regulatory compliance and manage the continuous improvement of ESG data collection processes, and support the implementation of sustainability strategy & objectives, including materiality assessments.
This is an 18 month fixed term,full time position based in either Adelaide, SA or Perth, WA.
Responsibilities
- Contribute towards annual submissions for sustainability surveys and reporting benchmarks e.g., CDP, GRI
- Support the team’s Sustainability Advisor with preparation of regulatory sustainability reporting, including NGER and NPI, and external sustainability disclosures, including verification of data.
- Ensure external sustainability surveys for Government Agencies and Industry Associations e.g., CIF, ABS and external sustainability indices are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop performance reporting templates, dashboards and reports.
- Manage and implement the continuous improvement of internal ESG reporting and data collection processes to streamline annual programs.
- Support the internal sustainability program through employee engagement and management of key initiatives
What you will need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Sustainability/Environment/Science or related discipline
- Strong skills in scoping and managing key sustainability projects and technology.
- Working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of carbon emissions reporting.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability.
