Our company is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our team, with an immediate start and work from our head office located in Silverwater in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Sustainability Manager, we are looking for a go-getter with technical knowledge of sustainability concepts and current policy.
Responsibilities
- Produce written submissions and pitch decks for award competitions, grant applications, potential clients, and other external stakeholders
- Recommend and implement initiatives that streamline our processes whilst reducing our environmental impact
- Manage various collaborative projects with our research partners
- Support the sustainability team in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Work alongside other team members on ad-hoc projects
- Assist Sales team on technical customer inquiries relating to our product and sustainability performance
- Assist our Marketing consultants to produce content and collaterals for our social media
About you
Ideally the candidates will possess the following:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in sustainability, environmental science or business, or a related field
- Technical knowledge of sustainability frameworks and tools
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong passion for sustainability and environmental conservation
- Ability to work autonomously and on tasks with high ambiguity
- Adaptable, flexible and eager to learn. Being in a startup means that no two days are the same!
