Swim For It is a great boutique swim school that has been open since March 2022. We provide swimming lessons to over 300 children per week from the ages of 6 months up to around 10 years old!
Our facility and staff provide a nurturing and supporting environment for kids to learn and flourish whilst learning an integral life skill. Swimming also helps kids improve and learn motor patterning, develop social skills and increase their overall fitness.

About the Role
The role of our Swim Teachers at Swim For It, is to be able to create a fun learning environment to all children whilst teaching them foundational swimming skills to develop over their time with us!
Not only will you be impacting the lives of these children through Water Safety but also developing great relationships with each of the families that walk through our doors.
We are looking for passionate teachers to teach all levels of our program across 7 days of the week that we operate.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be 17 years of age
- Current Australian recognised Swim Teacher Qualification, or willingness to become accredited
- Current CPR, or willing to obtain
- Working With Children Check- if over 18
- Any prior experience working with kids is prioritised
Skills & Responsibilities
- Teaching group swimming lessons to kids between the ages of 6 months up to 10years
- Assisting with set up and pack up of the facility each shift, as well as aiding in assessment and promotion of kids in the program
- Participate in workshops, staff meetings/outings and professional development courses
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Passion for swimming and teaching a lifelong skill
Availability
- Must be available during the week when possible
- Weekend availability is non-negotiable; must be available to work on Saturday and/or Sunday
