Our client is a prominent non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of Western Australians. With a broad reach and a significant impact on the community, we are committed to driving positive change through various initiatives. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Systems Engineer specialising in Cyber and Mobility to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term 3-year contract with a potential 2-year extension.
This position will play a pivotal role in the execution of critical initiatives within our Digital Transformation Program (DTP). This role primarily focuses on managing cyber security and mobility aspects, including vulnerability management and mobile device management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a purpose-driven team, contributing to projects that directly impact the lives of Western Australians.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Project Manager to support effective planning of all cyber security and mobility activities.
  • Assist with developing and implementing strategies for enhancing cyber security and mobility solutions within the organisation.
  • Work with the Change Management team to ensure appropriate communication in regards to project has been adapted
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and smooth functioning of cyber security and mobility systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on cyber security best practices and mobility solutions to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cyber security and mobility to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in system engineering, with a focus on cyber security and mobility.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability management and mobile device management tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST or ISO, and relevant compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
