Our large Federal Government Client with a financial focus is looking for a Systems Technical Lead to work as part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team. This role specialises in analysing, designing, implementing, and enhancing systems and applications for the Department across Australia.
The Tech lead is a senior engineer who oversees development in a systems team. Their role is to:
- Oversee technical activities of software development and infrastructure management, including
design, development and implementation of system changes. - Provide technical direction and guidance to less experienced team members to improve technical
capability of the team. This includes guiding team members with troubleshooting and problem
solving - Provide technical advice to solve complex problems,
- Collaborate with others to provide technical direction and standards across the branch and
support a culture of continuous improvement
The successful candidates will have:
- At least 5 years' experience as a Systems Analyst, Architect or Engineer.
- Have demonstrated leadership experience in a technical team.
- Experience in the development of technical design documentation.
- Understanding the translation of requirements to design and into testing.
- Ability to provide SME guidance to teams on the development of applications and systems.
