An exciting new opportunity is available for a Talent Acquisition Administrator to join our Brisbane based team at a part time capacity (3 days a week) and become part of Cochlear’s global People & Culture team.

About the role
This is an opportunity to join the heart of our business managing the Production Operators (Electronic Assemblers) end to end recruitment process.
This unique Talent Acquisition role will see you managing high volume recruitment for Cochlear’s Electronic Assemblers (Production Operators). You will become the subject matter expert and a true partner to our Manufacturing Department.
In this role you will work with our Manufacturing Managers and Production Trainers to meet a broad range of business objectives and help deliver on their strategic and transactional hiring objectives. A fantastic opportunity to join our mission of helping people hear and be heard around the world.
Responsibilities will include:
This is a specialised role with a sole focus on our Electronic Assemblers, you will become a true owner of bringing this talent into the business.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle of the Electronic Assemblers team, as well as elements of the new hires onboarding.
Build effective partnerships internally with hiring managers, production trainers and the broader People & Culture team, as well externally with Cochlear’s prospective candidates and recruitment partners.
Contribute to the optimal candidate experience by maintaining timely and informative interactions with all prospective applicants and by acting as the main point of contact throughout the recruitment process, providing appropriate feedback and advise throughout the recruitment process to ensure an overall effective hire.
Assist with the onboarding of new hires and their introduction into the business facilitating a successful integrating.

About You.
As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
Holding or studying towards a Bachelor’s degree
Availability to work three days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday mandatory)
Availability to travel to site on Tuesday and Wednesday (12 Helen St Teneriffe QLD)
Exceptional administrative skills and a great eye for detail
Previous experience in a corporate environment
Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability manage complex, time-dependent deliverables and working within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing interests
What will make you stand out?
Experience in agency recruitment managing a temp recruitment desk will be highly advantageous.
Experience in recruitment for manufacturing ideally within the Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices industries will also be highly regarded.
Mostly it will be your attitude and drive to excel that will make you stand out.
