Join the Shakespeare Property Group Portfolio Talent and Culture team as our Talent Acquisition Executive. This role plays a pivotal role in our success by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for our four Accor properties including Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, Pullman Cairns International, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, and Peppers Marysville.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate specialist responsible for executing end-to-end recruitment, processes, building strong relationships with candidates, and collaborating with hiring managers. The role is critical to the the success of the Talent and Culture team and the Shakespeare Property Group Portfolio. We are seeking a dynamic individual, a true people person, with great communication skills and a passion for excellence. Key to your success will be your experience working in recruitment or in Talent and Culture in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

With an impressive portfolio of diverse properties, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Talent Acquisition specialist to attract and recruit talent. The role will be ideally based at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort or Pullman Cairns International with the opportunity to work remotely for the right candidate. This is a part time role - 30 hours per week. Days and times flexible.

About the role

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand resourcing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and cultural fit
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to the commencement of onboarding
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies
  • Participate in Accor branding initiatives to enhance our position as a market leader

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years Talent and Culture or agency experience
  • Experience in creating talent pipelines and managing various programs
  • Effective multitasker who can work efficiently and prioritise effectively
  • Able to build positive working relationships quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
