Your future role

  • Austin has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition/HR Administrator role within our Kewdale office and adjacent manufacturing facility. The responsibilities of this position are to ensure our company attracts, hires, retains the best employees a while growing a strong talent pipeline for our future.

Role duties

  • A successful candidate will collaborate with the WA and QLD manufacturing teams on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. Attracting candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
  • Leading recruitment and selection of personnel including advertisement of vacancies, short listing suitable candidates, interview arrangements, requesting medical assessments and conducting interviews with managers.
  • Assisting with variety of Human Resources administrative duties and participating in HR projects
  • Taking ownership of the on-boarding process of new employees
  • Conducting the induction and ensure thorough onboarding for new Office employees.
  • Main point of contact for general HR enquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior HR Advisor to review existing process and practices, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Completing documentation and following-up requirements regarding new and current apprentices
  • Preparing accurate HR reports including recruitment activities 

Skills & experience

  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources (Certificate III /IV)
  • Work experience in Recruitment (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Hands-on experience with general HR Admin duties and onboarding processes 
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in industries such as manufacturing, heavy industry, mining or similar.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is highly desirable
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference checks etc.)
  • Innovative in your approach to HRM.
