The Role
Become an integral part of our team at Ben Furney Flour Mills in Dubbo carting flour. Our Tanker Operator delivers flour safely and on time every time. You will drive the tanker mostly within 200km of Dubbo. Your key responsibilities are:
- Load/unload the tanker and, occasionally, tippers and tautliners.
- Handle and transport materials safely.
- Liaise with the Operations Team in relation to the delivery schedule.
- Manage vehicle in safe operating condition.
- Generation and maintenance of records.
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
- Adherence to company policies and relevant industry legislation.
- Actively participate in strong and efficient teamwork practices.
About You
To be considered for the Tanker Operator position, you will need to:
- Work 12-hour Shifts.
- Consistent record of reliability.
- Demonstrated suitable driving history.
- Hold a current HC or Multi-Combination (MC) Drivers Licence.
- Have a passion for truck driving.
- Have experience as a Tanker Operator or willingness to learn.
- Undergo and pass a Truck Safe Medical.
- Be able to provide an RMS demerit point report, which illustrates a safe driving record.
- Be well presented with a customer service attitude.
- A genuine commitment to safety and applying safe working practices that comply with all Ben Furney safety requirements.
