THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Taproom team as a casual Bartender for 10-20 hours per week.  If you're passionate about beer and have a knack for relating to all kinds of customers, this could be the perfect role for you!

Our Bar staff are the 'face and voice' of Balter, sometimes being the first person that customers meet. So the role is to provide a friendly, welcoming and 'with enjoyment' experience for all customers, ensuring they have a memorable experience every time they visit. 

Plus, you'll get to work with some of the best beer in the country - what could be better than that?
Some of the specific stuff you'll be doing:

• Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Clearing tables and venue of empty glassware and rubbish
• Maintaining stock levels across beer and merchandise
• Maintaining taproom facilities and keeping it clean and tidy at all times
• Using our POS and completing accurate cash/Eftpos transactions
• Following appropriate checklists to ensure the efficient running of the Taproom
• Working in a safe manner and adhering to workplace health & safety
• Follow and abide with all company policies and procedures
• Any other duties as assigned

You have - 

• at least 2 years hospitality experience in a similar role;
• a genuine love for great beer and an infectious passion that makes others want to join the craft beer revolution. 
• previous experience in a bar role, where you've flexed your muscles and crafted unforgettable customer experiences. 
• the ability to multitask like a pro, juggling a bustling bar while keeping your cool and delivering high-quality service. 
• a knack for problem-solving, because in the beer world, even the tap lines can occasionally test our troubleshooting skills. 
• a magnetic personality that draws people in, making them feel right at home in our vibrant Taproom.
