We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Writer to join our editorial team. As a Tax Writer you will, be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and creating content for a variety of product offerings. From daily tax news to more in-depth analysis in our range of commentary products, you will work alongside 6 other Tax Writers. A strong interest in the use of data in large language models will be a big part of this role as Thomson Reuters embraces the exciting new changes in technology brought by AI.
About the Role
In this opportunity as a Tax Writer, you will:
Sources content materials, including maintaining an efficient network of internal and external sources and contacts upon which to draw for content, topics, contributions, and clarifications.
Analyzes information from multiple resources to write/edit/assemble/ update/ troubleshoots and delivers content with guidance and direction consistent with all company editorial standards.
Gathers and translates data into comprehensible text for internal and external customers.
Designs, develops, and provides high quality reference materials for the company’s products and resources using interactive content and new technologies.
May retrieve, interpret and provide critical analysis of subject matter material (relevant to products) to identify interesting topics and key authors for further commissioning of content to be published in company products.
May use writing and production skills and experience to write, edit or assemble product content based on various source materials.
May prepare dates for various existing publications that are consistent with company and industry standards.
Design and develop high quality reference materials for the company’s products and resources using interactive content and new technologies.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Tax Writer, if your background includes:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in relevant practice (Tax, Law or Accounting)
Have exposure to legal publishing.
A degree in Accounting or Tax Law is essential.
A strong desire to embrace new AI related technologies.
