Yuulong presents a unique opportunity for students to develop their identity, their ability to manage themselves at both a practical and emotional level, and to foster and enhance positive relationships. These components support the core goals of Clarendon's Student Development Pathway.

While it is easy to see the program as being about its beautiful location, the Yuulong campus is simply another context in which students are exposed to instruction that aims to build their skills, competencies and capacities in these areas of development.
