The Role
As an Educator, you will be responsible for the delivery of Construction (Digital Skills, Project Management & Contract Management) Microcredential courses, including assessments, over an 8-week teaching period, which comprises of:
2.5 hours of teaching per week (over six weeks)
1-hour drop-in session per week
Submission of assessment results via the LMS by week 8
The course is blended (Online & Face-to-Face) at Kingswood, NSW. The teaching periods are as follows:
Teaching Period 3: Mon, 27 May to Fri, 19 July
Teaching Period 4: Mon, 22 July to Fri, 13 Sep
Teaching Period 5: Mon, 16 Sep to Fri, 8 Nov
Teaching Period 6: Mon, 11 Nov (delivered Bootcamp Style)
Teaching hours are capped per Microcredential (based on 20 learners) over 8 weeks:
Foundational (F): 40 hours
Intermediate (I): 40 hours
Advanced (A): 45 hours
The Successful Candidate
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Relevant Construction qualifications
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Training and assessment experience in delivering nationally accredited and recognised courses
Passionate about delivering quality training, learning, and developing others
Commitment to quality training and assessment within VET and compliance processes
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
An experienced trainer with excellent delivery and facilitation techniques
