About the Role
As a Literacy and Numeracy Teacher at TAFE Gippsland, you will collaborate closely with vocational teachers and play a crucial role in helping students learn literacy and numeracy skills relevant to their enrolled qualification.
At TAFE Gippsland the role of the Teacher is to
- Share knowledge and experience in your specialist area;
- Manage the learning process to enable students to achieve their best;
- Develop and deliver relevant and industry current course material;
- Ensure that their own professional teaching and vocational competence and currency is kept up to date along with licensing requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
- Hold at minimum Bachelor of Education and/or higher Education qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching literacy and numeracy
- Evidence of industry currency including VIT registration
- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police check (not older than 5 years)
- Driver’s License
