About role
TAFE NSW are seeking Casual Teacher of Agriculture & Production to join the team based at the Coffs Harbour/Clarence Region and Wollongbar /Kingscliff Campuses and surrounding areas. The role is responsible for a range of activities, which supports a culturally diverse group of learners in the face-to-face delivery of the Certificate II to Certificate III in Production Horticulture (food production) and Beef Cattle Production areas and or Certificate III in Agriculture.
The role is responsible for a range of activities which enhances the student learning experience. As a professional educator you will skill the workforce of tomorrow by constructing and guiding the educative process in the classroom environment. In the role, you will use your industry experience to deliver educational programs and facilitate practical learning.
About you
To succeed in the role, you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and industry experience to ensure that your students are set up for success. You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including colleagues, industry, and students. You are self-driven and disciplined individual, who can manage high workloads and competing demands within a dynamic and flexible work environment.

• Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications, and hold the minimum vocational qualification in Certificate III in Agriculture or equivalent qualification. With a commitment to maintain technical industry currency.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience in the industry relevant to your qualifications.
• Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
