Job description
The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Department, we invite applicants who will contribute to our Christian ethos to teach Business and Legal Studies and improve student learning within those subject areas, with specialist skills and abilities in Accounting and/or Digital Technologies desirable. Campus: Caboolture Reporting to: Head of Department
Position type: Part time or Full time (Maternity leave cover, Term 2 commencing 15 April 2024 concluding 6 December 2024)

About You
This position would suit someone with a commitment to the ethos, Christian values and teachings of the College.
The suitable candidate will also have:
Demonstrated ability to teach Year 11 and 12 QCAA Business and Legal Studies general syllabus
Demonstrated ability to teach Year 7 – 10 Business subjects (that incorporate Business, Legal Studies, Business Studies (applied subject), Accounting, Digital Technologies and/or Digital Solutions)
Demonstrated ability to teach Year 10, 11 and 12 Certificate III in Business, highly desirable
Accredited teacher with Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), highly desirable – or be willing to undertake the training to gain the qualification
Accredited teacher with Lutheran Education Australia, highly desirable
Preference for experienced teachers
Ability to teach in another area could be an advantage
Willingness to assist with GEL – Grow, Empower, Learn (student holistic care program), GEL lessons, Chapel supervision, Inter-School sporting teams or recreational activities, Connection activities with student involvement
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary curriculum issues in Business education
Awareness of National curriculum imperatives.
