is a beautiful little country school that has about 40 students, and is located about 30 minutes west of Ipswich, just past Rosewood.
They are starting a program in 2024 focussed on science and/or digital technologies to build student knowledge and skills in these areas, and we are seeking someone with a passion for these areas for this role.
Grandchester is a small village west of Brisbane which came into existence with the arrival of the railway, and the building of Grandchester Railway Station, in 1865. It is well known for its miniature railway, and the remarkable Grandchester Steam Timber Mill which, in an age of environmentalism, recycles its sawdust to drive the steam engine which cuts the timber.
Your Role
As the Teacher you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes and groups.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
- Contribute to and assist with the management and further development of personnel, financial, information and technology, assets and facilities resources of the school to ensure their optimum use in meeting educational and departmental objectives
