Orange High School has proudly provided high quality learning experiences to students in Central Western NSW for over 100 years. Today, we educate up to 1000 students, 12% of which are Aboriginal, from within the regional city of Orange and its rural surroundings on Wiradjuri country. 1) Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with complex needs, including autism and emotion disturbance.
2) Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to build positive partnerships with families, support staff, interagency personnel and colleagues.
3) Demonstrated impact in developing, implementing and evaluating personalised learning plans to achieve student transition goals.
4) Capacity to implement the Department of Education Aboriginal Education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal students.
