Tangara School for Specific Purposes is located in Renwick, NSW . Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Moderate to Severe intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and other complex needs such as behaviour disorders, complex health care needs and sensory impairments K-12.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum and implement individualised learning programs through personalised learning support plans that are inclusive and maximise student engagement.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills that contribute to a culture of inclusivity, with the ability to proactively engage with students, colleagues, parents, carers, school learning support officers, external agencies and the wider community.
Proven experience and a willingness to contribute to whole school roles and responsibilities and to a positive school culture.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
