AddressTeacher/tutor required for three children who next year will all be in high school ( 1 in year 9 and 2 in year 7 -twins ) The required hours are Monday to Friday approximately two hours after school each day. The start time will vary each day depending on extracurricular activities however usual hours are approximately 4-6 or 5-7.
The position involves helping children with homework, keeping them on top of assignments and going over revision. Our home is located on the south side of Rockhampton.
The role would suit a teacher who is taking a break from the class room, a teacher on maternity leave, a retired teacher who is up with the current pedagogy or student teacher who is capable of helping with all core subjects. A bright recent school leaver studying another course but who is able to help with these subjects may also work.
A good grasp of maths, science and English is essential.
The ideal candidate must have a happy, bubbly outgoing disposition. They must also be reliable and punctual.
Hourly rate will depend on experience and qualifications and will be negotiated and mutually agreed upon prior to starting. Payment is in cash at the end of each week. The position will be open from next term, term 3 in early July but a sooner start time could be worked out if required.
