Fixed-Term - Part-Time - 3 days per week
We are seeking an enthusiastic, engaged person with a passion for PE, Outdoor Education or Sport to work as a Teaching Assistant in our Health Faculty.
In this new role within the School the successful candidate will work across each area of the Health Faculty; PE, Outdoor Education and Sport. The day to day tasks may include administrative duties, sorting out Sport equipment, assisting to prepare for an Outdoor Education trip, assisting teachers in the learning space or any number of daily tasks associated with the Faculty. This is a role full of variety, learning opportunities and positive challenges.
Whilst experience as a Teaching Assistant is not required applicants should have a passion for one of the areas and experience/knowledge in the following:
- Experience in at least one of the following: PE and Health, Outdoor Education or Sports
- Have or be willing to gain a heavy vehicle (light rigid) Drivers and PPV licence.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Proven organisational skills, including an ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to assist with the guiding supervision of students within the classroom, on school excursions and at sporting activities.
