About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Leader to take on this role across Yarra Ranges Health, Angliss Hospital and the Peter James Centre, Eastern Health.
The Team Leader will be a senior allied health professional with a relevant clinical background (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Work background would be highly regarded). Experience or interest in the area of persistent pain management and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team is essential. Redesign experience would also be highly regarded.
The Team Leader will possess strong leadership, communication, service administration, quality improvement and benchmarking skills. The team is delivering care both virtually or in person centre based.
You will be required to:
Manage and lead the day to day operational needs of a small dedicated team based on Eastern Health’s mission and values
Lead and develop the delivery of a high quality, accessible and coordinated service to our clients across sites with a mixture of virtual and face-to-face appointments
Meet key performance indicators and targets set by Manager and funding bodies
Collaborate and develop good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective staff communication processes are in place
Uphold clinical competencies and skills and maintain a clinical component
To be successful in the role you will have:

Well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills
Sound quality improvement and research skills
Sound clinical skills within field of expertise including supervision of staff
