The Opportunity
We seek a Team Leader Aquatic Operations who will be located at the Alice Springs Aquatic & Leisure Centre (ASALC) and within the Community Development Directorate. This position will be responsible for the development, coordination and supervision of various aquatic staff and their related activities at ASALC. Demonstrate a socially inclusive community focus by providing effective, efficient customer service to the Alice Springs community.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to oversee the aquatic supervision and pool safety practices delivered at the Centre, assist in the induction of new staff and the coordination of training across the Centre, ensure the water quality if within the required regulations, develop and manage rosters for lifeguards, duty managers and cleaners/maintenance staff for the Centre, manage and de-escalate complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner and embed a safety culture in the aquatic teams.

- Attractive salary of $92,783.52 exclusive of superannuation plus district allowance — $ 2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o dependents on pro-rata basis.
- 6 weeks annual leave with additional generous leave entitlements on pro-rata basis.
