Band 7 - $104,653.35 - $112,994.11 per annum plus superannuation
The role
AccessCare, City of Kingston is seeking Team Leader Quality to join the team. We are looking for someone with experience in aged care quality management, who is familiar with the Aged Care Quality Standards and implementing quality initiatives including to clinical care and governance.
Reporting to the manager:
Management of AccessCare’s quality system, with oversight for the compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, along with AccessCare management.
Lead the implementation of the new Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards by 1 July 2024.
Be a member of AccessCare clinical governance team.
Monitor program performance, coordinate reporting/audit activities with a focus on clinical governance service providers compliance, documentation and processes.
Provide line management to the contract’s coordinator for AccessCare ensuring contacts are managed pertaining to home care service delivery.
Manage the processes and the database to ensure the currency of AccessCare policies and procedures.
Support the preparation and ongoing readiness for accreditation visits and conduct annual self-assessment audits to ensure services are operating in line with governing standards.
Identify priorities and risks through data analysis, reports and trends, collaboratively developing action plans to achieve continuous improvement.

About you
You will have:
A tertiary qualification in Nursing (RN) or Social Sciences, Health or a related discipline and/ or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of clinical governance and awareness of what is required to meet the aged care standards.
Strong knowledge of the aged care accreditation process, auditing and quality assurance.
Experience in the management of quality, particularly in the aged, health or disability sector.
Demonstrated ability reviewing and updating policies and procedures.

The salary for this position starts at $104,653 per annum plus superannuation.
