What we are looking for:
Do you have great customer service skills, good computer skills and experience in Waste Operations or Civil Earthworks?
This position is responsible for providing effective and efficient operational support to Fraser Coast Waste, including duties such as operating the weighbridge.
Everyday is different in this role, you will be part of a team that:
- Works in the Weighbridge Gatehouse; taking sales and giving advice to customers.
- Loads Trucks
- Operates earth moving equipment
- Loads and sells mulch; and
- Carries out all aspects of maintenance at Council’s various waste transfer stations

What you should have to apply:
- Current White Card
- Cash handling experience
- Customer Service experience
- Experience operating trucks and machinery (Medium Rigid Licence and machinery experience will be highly regarded)
- Current drivers licence
- Forklift, bobcat, mini excavator ticket
- Front end loader ticket and experience
- HR Drivers licence
- ACDC Licence
- Learning and Development opportunities
